Community Groups

Soccer-01.png

Mack Park serves as a vibrant gathering space for community organizations, events, and recreational programs that bring people together throughout the year. Local groups regularly use the park for recreation, education, and community activities, including sports leagues, youth programming through the YMCA, and volunteer-led initiatives like the Indiana Community Garden.

The grounds also host large regional events such as the annual Indiana County Fair, which draws thousands of visitors for agricultural exhibits, entertainment, and family-friendly activities. By providing space for athletics, gardening, festivals, and nonprofit programs, the park plays an important role in supporting community engagement, healthy lifestyles, and local traditions in the region.

Indiana Women's Flag Football League

Since 2015, Indiana Women's Flag Football has called Mack Park their home.  IWFF is a non-profit organization that offers affordable recreation for girls and women.

The league also gives back to the park - through special projects such as bathroom painting, new signage, and hosting our website.
